Every customer is earned or bought.

Virely builds the earned column. We are customer acquisition software for businesses with no marketing budget — and we count the buyers you didn't pay for.

Earned — someone told them
Bought — you paid for them
  • A customer referred them by name
  • They arrived with a code, not a coupon hunt
  • They had never bought from you before
  • The cost was zero, and it compounds
  • Paid ads — rented attention
  • Marketplaces — rented demand
  • Discounts — bought margin
  • Points programs — theatre, not growth
Most small businesses cannot say which column a customer came from. That is the problem Virely instruments.

About Virely

Customer acquisition for businesses with no marketing budget.

Virely LLC is an Atlanta-based smart marketing technology company. It builds software for the operators who cannot outspend a national brand and were never going to — the independent shops, service businesses, and restaurants that have to earn every customer they get.

Through its family of Dealsby platforms and the Virely Growth Suite, Virely turns a business's existing customers into a measurable source of new buyers: people who had never bought before, arriving because someone told them. Founded and led by Brenton Wright, Virely is preparing a Georgia-first commercial launch in Q3 2026, with each platform purpose-built to solve a single, painful problem exceptionally well.

The mission

Count what you earned

Give every small business the ability to know — not guess — how many customers arrived because someone told them, and then grow that number.

The approach

Three focused platforms

Each Dealsby platform solves one problem deeply, offered together through one streamlined Growth Suite. No sprawling all-in-one.

The market

US local commerce

Small businesses across hospitality, services, and local commerce — 14 industries with adaptive, industry-specific terminology.

The problem

They would. They don't.

60%

of people who don't take part in referral programs say they have never received a referral code or link from someone they know.

The gap is mechanism, not sentiment.

Customers are not withholding recommendations. They were never handed anything to pass on. That reframes the entire problem: the fix isn't making people like you more, it's putting an instrument in their hands and counting what comes back. Virely sells the instrument.

Why penetration, not sentiment. The Ehrenberg-Bass Institute's finding, popularised by Byron Sharp, is that brands grow through penetration — more buyers — and that repeat-purchase rates are largely an output of brand size rather than a lever on it (Double Jeopardy). Virely's customers are small brands by definition. Selling them sentiment would be selling them the symptom. A referral is a penetration mechanism: its output is a person who never bought, buying.

Register note for reporters: "penetration" is the analyst-facing term. Virely says "turn one customer into two" to operators. Same claim, two registers.

Source & caveats

impact.com, “Customer referral marketing research: A consumer perspective” (2024). Report landing page.

Two things a reporter would find, so we'll say them first. This is vendor research. impact.com sells referral software, and a finding that brands should promote their referral programs harder is commercially convenient for the publisher. And the methodology is not public — sample size, geography, and fielding dates sit behind the publisher's registration form. Virely has not independently verified them.

We cite it anyway because it is named, dated, and traceable to a specific document that exists. That is a low bar. It is also a bar the most-repeated statistic in this industry — the one claiming 83% of satisfied customers would refer and 29% do — does not clear: it is attributed everywhere to “Texas Tech University” and to no paper, author, or year that anyone can produce. Virely does not use it.

The honest end state is that we stop borrowing. The Georgia Earned Growth Index will replace this figure with one Virely measures itself, published with its methodology attached.

The metric

Earned Growth Rate.

Virely reports Earned Growth Rate. The metric is not ours. Fred Reichheld introduced it in Harvard Business Review in November 2021 ("Net Promoter 3.0"), conceding that NPS had drifted into a survey score detached from growth, and replacing it with an accounting measure:

Earned Growth Rate = Net Revenue Retention + Earned New Customers − 100%

Computing it requires a business to know which customers were earned and which were bought. Almost none can. A referral code is the instrument that answers the question — which is why Virely is positioned to report the number, not to have invented it.

Count what you earned Try it — 3 fields

Everything, from everyone.

$
02

The same people, coming back. Your books can answer this.

$
03

Not new customers in total. Only the ones who are here because an existing customer sent them.

Fill in the three fields. Most owners stop at the third.

We eat it first. Virely publishes its own Earned Growth Rate. We will not ask an operator to measure something we won't measure ourselves. Current figures are available to press on request.

What we don't claim

One of our two engines does not grow your business.

Dealsby Referrals contains two engines. Only one of them is a growth product, and we would rather say so than be caught not saying it.

Grows you

The referral engine

Produces new buyers — people who had never bought before, arriving because an existing customer told them. Defend it, question it, hold us to it on growth grounds. This is the claim.

Does not grow you

The points engine

Does not produce new buyers, and Virely declines to claim that it does. Its honest jobs are repeat frequency, retention, and — for many small operators — building a customer list for the very first time. Those are real jobs worth paying for. They are not growth, and we won't sell them as growth.

Brenton Wright

Founder & Chief Executive Officer, Virely LLC

Brenton Wright is the founder and CEO of Virely, where he leads product vision, strategy, and the company's go-to-market for its Q3 2026 launch. A hands-on, business-first founder, he built Virely by working shoulder-to-shoulder with a dedicated development team to translate the real-world needs of small-business owners into focused, dependable software — shaped by owner conversations rather than boardroom assumptions.

His argument is unfashionable and deliberately narrow: small businesses do not have a sentiment problem, they have a buyer problem, and the software sold to them has spent a decade measuring the wrong thing.

Our story

The Virely story.

Virely was born from a plain observation: the technology that helps big brands win — automated referrals, smart scheduling, growth measured honestly — was out of reach for the small businesses that anchor our neighborhoods. Founder Brenton Wright watched a family business close. Not for want of a good product. For want of new customers, with tools that were too expensive, too complex, or simply built for someone else.

The name is the thesis. Virely — reach that spreads on its own, referral growth, community support. Every Dealsby platform is built around the real, day-to-day needs of independent operators.

Virely's belief is that when a local business earns its way to more customers, the whole street benefits: more jobs, more character, more connection. Making growth technology genuinely accessible is how small businesses stop surviving and start leading — one neighborhood at a time.

Built for Main Street

Affordable and approachable

Designed around the budgets, time, and teams of real small businesses — not enterprise procurement.

Discovery

Neighbors find neighbors

The geo-located "Featured Small Business" placement and the In-Store Table Tent Program help people discover the businesses around them.

Earned growth

One customer becomes two

A referral's output is a person who never bought, buying. That compounds locally in a way paid reach never does.

The Virely Growth Suite

One suite. Every growth lever your business needs.

The Virely Growth Suite brings the three Dealsby platforms together under a single, streamlined experience at virely.co — with bundle pricing, flexible billing terms, and a unified onboarding flow. Each platform is complementary, letting owners adopt one tool or all three.

Activation

Streamlined onboarding

A guided activation experience gets new subscribers from sign-up to live in minutes, not weeks.

Pricing

Bundle pricing

Term discounts of 2.5% quarterly, 5% semi-annual, and 10% annual — plus bundle discounts of up to 20% on the full suite.

Measurement

Growth, counted

Analytics built in — from referred new buyers to booking activity — so owners can see which column a customer came from.

The platforms

Three platforms. Three problems solved.

Each Dealsby platform is engineered to solve one growth challenge exceptionally well. Select a platform to explore its purpose, capabilities, audience, and pricing.

Turn one customer into two.

Best for: local businesses that grow by being recommended, and want the recommendation to be measurable instead of anecdotal.

Long

Virely LLC is an Atlanta-based smart marketing technology company built on a single distinction: every customer a business gets is either earned or bought. Earned means someone told them. Bought means the business paid — for the ad, the marketplace placement, or the discount. Virely builds the earned column, and sells customer acquisition software to the operators who have no marketing budget and were never going to outspend a national brand. Under the Dealsby brand, Dealsby Referrals gives a business a referral code, a reason for customers to pass it on, and an answer to the question almost no small business can answer: how many of my customers came because someone told them? Dealsby Appointments delivers 24/7 smart scheduling with deposit management to reduce no-shows. Dealsby Reservations is a hospitality engine with smart availability and adaptive terminology across 14 industries. These complementary platforms come together in the Virely Growth Suite — a single, streamlined experience at virely.co with bundle pricing and unified onboarding. Virely reports Earned Growth Rate, the accounting measure Fred Reichheld introduced in Harvard Business Review in November 2021 to replace NPS, and publishes its own figure. Founded and led by CEO Brenton Wright — who started the company after watching a family business close for want of new customers — Virely is a US-based, 18+ company preparing a Georgia-first commercial launch in Q3 2026.

In their words

Pull quotes.

"Small businesses don't have a sentiment problem. They have a buyer problem. We stopped measuring how people feel and started counting who showed up."

— Brenton Wright, Founder & CEO

"Six in ten people who never referred anyone were never given a link to send. That's not a loyalty problem. Nobody built them a door."

— On the launch campaign

"Our points engine doesn't grow your business, and I'd rather say that out loud than get caught not saying it."

✓ Do

  • Use the full "Virely Smart Marketing Technologies" lockup in headers and footers
  • Use the full names "Virely" and "Dealsby Referrals" (never just "Dealsby")
  • Maintain the deep purple gradient as the corporate identity
  • Pair platform accent colors with their respective platforms
  • Place the lockup as-is — it ships with its own dark plate and needs no backing shape

✕ Don't

  • Set the plain "VIRELY" wordmark alone in place of the lockup
  • Abbreviate or alter platform names
  • Recolor the corporate gradient outside brand purples
  • Stretch, rotate, or distort the logo mark
  • Imply the platforms are a single integrated product
For journalists

Frequently asked questions.

What does Virely actually do?
Virely sells customer acquisition software to businesses with no marketing budget. Its premise is that every customer is either earned — someone told them — or bought through ads, marketplaces, or discounts. Its three Dealsby platforms (Referrals, Appointments, Reservations) and the Virely Growth Suite are built to produce earned customers and, critically, to count them.
Isn't this just a rewards program?
Dealsby Referrals contains two engines. The referral engine produces new buyers and is a growth product. The points engine does not produce new buyers, and Virely does not claim that it does — its honest jobs are repeat frequency, retention, and helping an operator build a customer list for the first time. Points are the reason a customer passes a code on; they are not the growth.
Where does the 60% figure come from?
impact.com’s report “Customer referral marketing research: A consumer perspective” (2024) found that 60% of people who don’t participate in referral programs say they never received a referral code or link from someone they know. Two caveats we state on the page rather than wait to be asked: impact.com sells referral software, so this is vendor research with a commercial interest in the finding, and the full methodology sits behind the publisher’s registration form and has not been independently verified by Virely.
Why doesn’t Virely use the 83%/29% referral statistic?
Because we cannot source it. It is attributed across the industry to “Texas Tech University” with no paper, author, journal, or consistent year attached, and the earliest traceable appearances already repeat it as received wisdom. A company whose entire argument is that the industry asserts what it should count cannot build a campaign on a number nobody can produce. We removed it.
Why report Earned Growth Rate instead of NPS?
Because Fred Reichheld — who created NPS — said so first. In Harvard Business Review in November 2021 ("Net Promoter 3.0"), he conceded that NPS had become a survey score gamed and detached from growth, and proposed Earned Growth Rate as an accounting replacement: Net Revenue Retention + Earned New Customers − 100%. Computing it requires knowing which customers were earned. A referral code is the instrument for that. The metric is Reichheld's, not Virely's.
Does Virely publish its own Earned Growth Rate?
Yes. Virely will not ask operators to measure something it declines to measure itself. Current figures are available to press on request.
How are the three platforms related?
They are complementary, not a single integrated product. A business can adopt one platform or all three. The Virely Growth Suite offers them together through one streamlined purchase and onboarding experience. Each platform maintains its own account today.
When is Virely launching?
Virely is preparing a Georgia-first commercial launch in Q3 2026, ahead of a broader US rollout.
Who can use Virely's platforms?
The Dealsby platforms are available in the United States to users 18 and older.
What does the pricing look like?
Plans start at $59/month, with Growth tiers at $99/month and an Enterprise tier for Dealsby Reservations at $399/month. Selecting all three platforms in the Growth Suite applies a 20% full-suite discount. SMS/email add-ons and pay-as-you-go options are available on the applicable platforms.
Who leads the company?
Virely was founded by Brenton Wright, who serves as Founder and CEO, leading product vision, strategy, and go-to-market.
How do I request an interview or assets?
Reach the Virely team via the press contact below. Approved boilerplate, logos, brand colors, founder photography (linked above), and current Earned Growth Rate figures are available on request.
